How to Use

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. All resizing is done in your browser using the Canvas API. Your image never leaves your device.

What image formats are supported?

You can upload PNG, JPG, WebP, and GIF files. Output formats are PNG, JPG, and WebP.

What does 'Lock aspect ratio' do?

When enabled, changing either width or height automatically adjusts the other dimension to preserve the original proportions. This prevents distortion.

What does the quality slider affect?

Quality applies to lossy formats (JPG and WebP). Higher quality produces larger files with better detail; lower quality produces smaller files with some compression artifacts. PNG is lossless and unaffected by the quality setting.

Is there a maximum file size?

There is no hard limit, but very large images (over 20 megapixels) may be slow to process in the browser. For best performance, use images under 10 MB.
